From the 18th to 25th Encontes (Tales) 1 st Storytelling Festival Vila d’Altea

Thursday 19th at 20 h. presentation of the book “Les llegendes secretes de Sara Llorenç” by Joan Borja at the Culture House.

Thursday 19th at 20,30 h. Videoforum in Centro Social (films in Spanish language), this week with the film “Sicario” (2015) directed by Denis Villeneuve (free entry and limited to capacity of the room).

Saturday 21st  IV Trobada of Batucades of Altea (trums) at 12 h. organized by Batucada Sonats d’Altea.

Saturday 21st at 18 h. Musical performance by pupils of the EsMuAltea in the SFA.

Saturday 21st at 22 h. Luis Prado I Yosephine. Concert series of pop, rock and electronica in Palau Altea (more information www.palaualtea.com )

Sunday 22nd at 10’30 h. Volta a peu (walking route) since Ciudad Deportiva. And at 19 h, in Palau Altea, Moda a Escena (fashion).

The cultural offer in Altea completes with the photo’s exhibition La Casa de Cultura d’Altea: Orígens in the Casa de Cultura (from Monday 25th April). Casal Fester Museum, where Moors and Christians show their finery in the Casa de Cultura at the 14 Pont de Montcau Street (open Monday to Friday from 10 to 14 h and from 17 to 20 h – admission free) and with the Museo Parroquial de la Iglesia de Ntra. Sra. del Consuelo, where you can admire liturgical objects such as chalices, chasubles and parish books of great historical value that come to date from the year 1640 (the exhibition will be open Tuesday to Saturday from 10:30 to 13:30 and 16:30 to 18:30 hours – more on this link).

There is also a time for sports this week, on Wednesday 18th and Friday 20th of May Snorkel guided tours will take place. Wednesday will visit the coast from the beach of La Olla, while Friday will start at Mascarat Beach. In both cases the output will be at 10:00 hours. Limited places.
